    Hi,
Just wondering has anyone done the dental nursing course in DIFE or are you a dental nurse yourself and how do you find the job?

I worked as a dental nurse. If you are keen to go to college and get the qualification I'm sure the course in DIFE will serve you well.

On the other hand, a lot of dentists are happy to take someone in and train them up on site.
The job is interesting especially if you like dealing with customers, a dental nurse can really make a trip to the dentist so much easier on a patient.

A big part of the job is cleaning and maintaining equipment. I can't stress that enough.
Covering reception, appointment booking and helping the dentist when needed (mixing for fillings/holding the suction etc) are the other main jobs but depends where you work.

It's not a bad job if you get in with the right practice. If you have any other questions I'd be happy to try to answer.
