    Hi folks,

A few questions here for lads in the know:

Friend emailed me a pic of a car he reversed into last night. Looks like front offside wing damage. Apparently no damage to the door or the arch (by the looks of the pic ). Apologies for the quality as the pic was taken late yesterday evening. So, is it something that the Dent Master could deal with or if not, could you guys estimate a wing replacement and respray ?

Also, what is the car ? Indicator lens suggests a 3 series beemer ? Year was definitely 2004.

Just basically looking for a ballpark as he doesn't want to have his insurance affected so financing the repair himself.

    Yes a late e46 3 series.

Unfortunately it is completely up to the owner of the car on how they want to proceed with the fix. Your friend can make suggestions, but not much more than that.

Seems to be scratched so painting required, you'd get it done for about €400 in an insurance approved bodyshop imo.

Cheers Alan, yeah understand. Apparently, my colleague waited around for the owner and she was thankful for that I guess. All indications are that she's a decent woman, friendly & polite, didn't go off on one and will be happy enough to deal with him directly. We shall see.

Out of interest, and from the looks of the pic would it be a wing change or just paint/repair do you guys think?

Also, any recommendations for a Dublin based outfit ?
