Possible to defer to another PLC Course?

    Hi everyone,

    My younger brother is currently doing art & design fetac level 5 in wexford vocational college and just finished semester 1 but wants to do semester 2 in another college for the same plc course. Is that possible?

    I doubt it as all sorts of funding and staffing levels depends on student numbers. I suppose he could ask and see.

    That would be up to the college concerned. The one he wants to go to. He'd have to ask, but I doubt if they would take him on half way through. His coursework would already have been started to be assessed by his present teachers, for example. I doubt if it can be transferred to another school. And the order of assessment could be different.

    By the way, FE doesn't use semesterisation. They operate on the second level year, so the semesters aren't stand alone.
