Double or Single RAD for Attic conversion

    Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone could advise as to what size radiator should go into a recent attic conversion. There is 100mm of insulation (50mm slab + 50mm rigid board) and its a terraced house so limited heat loss either side.

Nearly everyone who has similar is saying it will be the warmest room in the house. The space available would easily accommodate a 120cm x 50-70cm radiator.

With no radiator and the temperature around zero its not cold up there. I'm thinking a double rad would be over-kill and a single would do.

Any rule of thumb based on KW or BTU / meter or something?

    Thanks

a good plumbing trade counter. give them the room measurements. they have a chart to tell you the correct size and if it should be double or single
