Where would I get one of these (towing eye cover)

    I think some b#stard has been at my car :mad::mad::mad:

    Where would I get something to cover this hole? And any idea of cost?

    Towing eye cover. Main dealer or scrap yard depending on whether you want new or 2nd hand.

    Breakers yard (assuming the car wasn't towed there :pac:)

    Looks like they tend to go for around €20. Of course, you'll have to paint to match too.

    Try scrap yards and ebay for the right colour. You could order from a dealer, but at a guess they would not come painted, which is the main issue.

    Approx €20 directly from a BMW dealer.
    Needs to be painted though.

    I replaced mine while I was having other body work done.

    The quote from BMW was about €25 to have it painted - you need to supply them with your chassis number

    So, I managed to source another this afternoon, but it is damaged (as circled in red).

    Perfect match otherwise. Such a perfect match I had to stare the guy down for 10 minutes just to make sure it wasn't actually mine. (joke).
    Fair play to him, as he now has to find a guy who wants a bumper minus the towing eye cover.

    To be sure to be sure, how will I get this to stick in place? I don't mind gluing it, but maybe glue may not take to the plastic... ???
    I haven't an idea, I am a complete idiot. Anyone help?

    And thanks to the guys for posting places I could ask. The fact that someone took this really pissed me off. It was there when I filled it the car with screen washing fluid this morning.
