Registered as estate rather than hatchback - issues or OK?

So I bought a new car the other day and all was fine until I went online to tax it. It was registered incorrectly as an estate rather than a hatchback by mistake. I rang the dealership and they said not to worry about it..happens all the time...just go ahead and tax it.

Does this sound OK to people? Are there potential issues down the line when trying to sell it etc?

My car is a 5 door hatch and it's registered as an estate - a quick look around online and they all are for some reason. Insurance weren't bothered when I rang to query it. If they're happy then leave it off.
