    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any info on good cycling holidays in Europe (moderate level). Looking for a guided group style holiday that we could book on to that would maybe last between 5-7 days and would have a mixed age group (we are in early 30s).

Any info greatly appreciated as any searches i've done so far seem to be for older age groups and are really expensive!!

    Thanks

I've not taken a guided tour myself but have done a bit of bikepacking in France. Pop over to the cycling forum on boards, probably a few with experience there.

I don't use Marmot Tours but I have used their itineraries to do trips myself and they are top notch. I used their itinerary to do the Raid Pyrenean and Raid Dolomites and I'm using their itinerary to do the Raid Corsica this year. They have a good reputation and I think Orwell Wheelers are using them this year for a trip they are doing.

Not used them but met a group of MTB lads that were with them and they seemed happy enough with the service,

My husband and I have been to this hotel a couple of times and love it. Would go back more often if we could afford 2 holidays a year.

They have guided rides for different levels and it's pretty much all inclusive. The food is amazing and the staff are brilliant. We did the Nove Colli GF with them, great experience ~12000 cyclists on closed roads.

You dont say if you are bringing your own bikes or carrying your own gear or how many of you there are or when you intend to go. How many kms per day would you be aiming for? With flights so cheap now I would suggest organising your own trip and bring your own bikes. For 5 to 7 days you could travel very light.

However maybe you require a guided tour for personal reasons and if so I havent done one but have done plenty of self guided ones..

Thanks very much for all your replies. Will have a look into all your suggestions. There's jsut 2 of us going so wanted to book onto a tour for the easiness of it and to meet up with a few people. Just recreational cyclists really, maybe 40km a day or so

    Thanks again, appreciate it
