    Hi all,

I'm looking at a career change & am strongly considering on becoming an SNA. I've no previous experience or qualifications in this area, & am slightly confused as to the structure of the awards. From reading online, I gather I'll need to do the Childcare & Education course (Fetac major award 5M2009), with one of the modules being special needs? Initially I thought I could just do an SNA component course & be qualified to be an SNA, but I think the regs are changing this year to make the 5M2009 course compulsory for the field?
