Could anyone recommend any events in the northeast/Louth area that have finishers medals (10k/HM)

I think when I did the Dune half a couple of years ago, there was a medal.. It's in March.

I think the National Cross Country is held in Louth. As far as I'm aware, they give out medals to the top 3 in each category. Hope that helps.

Dune half marathon is coming up and will have medals. As will many other races in Louth. Both Dundalk and Drogheda have 10k races which most likely have medals..... Though finishers medals are about the least important thing any one thinking of doing a race should take account of.

Depends what the medal means to the person. Who are we to judge. For all we know it could encourage that person to continue to run, hence it would be a good thing.

from a pure egotistical point of view, its nice to look back at finishers medals from events you've competed in during the year. ive registered for DUNE and Cooley Legends Half Marathon.
