Mf 4255 with mf844 loader..joystick problems

The joystick for the loader seems to have a lot of play in it and the reaction for opening and closing the bucket/grab,lifting loader up and down is very slow.
Just wondering do ye have any recommendations on how to fix it

Would it be to adjust the cable that out of the cab goes into the spools...not sure of how to do it or is it oil pressure

I feel like it could be the cable because if the joystick was tighter the it would react quicker for opening and closing...it's just I don't know how to go about it

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's taking ages to feed silage bales the way it is+ I'm going to break the joystick cos I'm pulling on it too hard

    Thanks

check the cables on the valve end, the cables can strech but they can be adjusted. if that doesn't work or the adjustment is all gone, then you need new cables or it could be ware in the joystick.... and thats no joy!......

Check the cables at the joystick end. They shouldnt be moving at the joystick housing, if they are they can be tightened by 2 grub screws in the side of the plastic housing.

Shouldnt have any issues on the valve end unless loose. If all is tight id recon the cables are stretched and need replacing.

had similar issues with our MF866 loader, cables were adjusted and it fixed it for a short time, in the end, we replaced the joy stick.

As far as I know there is a ball and socket type connection at the joystick which wears down and may pop out

There's 3 , 1 on each cable and 1 that the joystick pivot on the coating wears on them making them loose or popping out.
