    Hi !

I am travelling Derry - Belfast - Dublin next week.

Are there plugs on the Belfast - Dublin train to charge my laptop?

I can get 2 hours but that will be used up on the Derry - Belfast train!

    Thanks

Only if operated by a 22k. Most of them are still DeDeitrichs without.

The usual Enterprise trains only have power at the end of the carriage iirc.

However they are being refurbished at the moment so you might get a more modern IE 22000 class, which has plenty of sockets.

According to this there is no mention of power on the Enterprise, but I think there are sockets at the ends of each carriage.

The trains which have power points throughout the train are:

    Monday/Saturday:
    From Dublin:
    07:35, 13:20; 19:00

    From Belfast:
    10:35; 16:05; 21:35

    Sundays:
    From Dublin:
    10:00; 16:00

    From Belfast:
    13:05; 19:05

There are, though they're officially intended for cleaners and not the public! officially... ;)

Anyone know whether they're fitting sockets to the refurbished DD carriages?

Absolutely - not fitting them would be pointless.

This is IE we're talking about, I take nothing for granted! ;)
