I have never seen it but it looks pretty good. What did you think of it?

Yes years ago, it was an American tv series about a group of angels (although it focused mainly on one) who came into peoples lives to make them better. The lead was supposed to be irish but can't remember if she actually was. It was one of those programs you could watch without engaging your brain ;-)

Absolutely cringeworthy sentimental religious ****e of the kind lapped up by the yanks. One of the worst tv shows I've ever had the misfortune to endure.

    Northern Irish isn't a nationality

Yup. RTE used it to fill their 'religious slot' on Sundays. Other notable fillers of said slot were Highway to Heaven and 7th. Heaven. Terrible schlock altogether. Mind you the few times I caught it I wouldn't have minded being touched by an angel, as long as it was the Roma Downey one :)

Watched two episodes. Far cornier than the incredibly corny 'Highway to Heaven'. Immediately went into sugar shock. So saccharine it was nauseatingly painful. Roma Downey, who bizarrely is actually Irish, plays 'oirish, begorrah' worse than John Wayne or Tom Cruise ever did.
I wouldn't throw her out of bed, but I'd keep the volume down.
