Guys a neighbour of mine has a 1.6 tdci mk2 focus, it refuses to start, sometimes if you lock the door and un lock it it will but as of late it just will not move, I ran a obd scanner on it and got back the following codes

    U0001 - Network
    P0500 - Powertrain
    U0155 - Network
    P1250 - Powertrain
    U0121 - Network
    U1900 - Network

They also told me the ignition coil had recently been replaced and then the above started happening, so what do ye think? did someone forget to program something or what?

Those U codes are caused by communication faults between modules.
The pcm p0500 is a vehicle speed sensor fault.

Without seeing the car i would hazard a guess its an instrument cluster faulty they give trouble so more than likely is your problem but without proper diagnosis its only a guess.

    1.6tdci, ignition coil????

Is this a petrol or diesel car? I'm presuming it's diesel.

May be worth checking the multiplugs in the passenger footwell. These are popular for getting kicked loose and causing all sorts of problems.

Went back and asked, it's a petrol, but it got a new boot and they never took the tdci badge off

It's been towed off to ford now so it'l be sorted hopefully
