I have moved into a new house and I cannot figure our how to turn on the heating!!!

All I can see is a vokera boiler upstairs with no controls no on/off switch etc and a thermostat downstairs.

Would the heating generally be controlled by the boiler or would there be some other controls somewhere else in the house?
    Cannot find anything else.

There is a flap next to the gauges on the boiler. The controls are behind it. It opens upwards. look a little closer.

There should also be a fused spur near the boiler so, if you are suitably skilled u can check if there is juice. Ther should also be a breaker on the fuse board for the heating.
With 2% left on ur fone maybe there is no juice:)
