Looking for alternative Band to play Galway wedding

    Hi Guys,

I am getting married July 18th 2015 in Galway. I could not cope with ''red rose cafe'' or 'rock the boat'' type music.

I am looking for something alternative/modern rather than the typical wedding band, a band with good energy and able to get the crowd going.

Would anyone be able to make any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Kevin.

Blue Moose for the absolute win... We had them at our wedding last year and they rocked the house. They have a massive set to draw from so we had everything from AC/DC, Michael Jackon, Zeppelin, Darkness, Daft Punk, Queen, 'Jovi, Beastie Boys, Blink 182, Killers and even the poppier stuff they did (an Abba medley) had the rock dialed way up. See for yourself, this is what happened when I joined them for the last few songs of the night... goo.gl/oZozfU

I pretty much booked them off the back of seeing this... youtube.com/watch?v=L3MA6IPoJak

All the rest have been done to death these are on the way to being a top irish cover band.

There's a wedding band showcase in Monroe's next Sunday afternoon. Think they have six bands from around the country playing.

Check out Aftershok . They can play the cheese but prefer to rock it out. aftershokweddingband.com
