JD sports have some decent prices on sale items at the minute, I got a pair of Diadora Skate shoes for €13 earlier, and you don't need to pay for delivery if you are near a JD sports or champion sports shop as they'll deliver them there for pickup FOC

placed an order myself there. collection in store. money taken from card but got no confirmation of purchase either on screen or via email. did you?

Same for me,money taken but no email.
Their website is dreadful for purchase confirmation details and trying to sign into your account.
But their bargains are good,have purchased before and collected from store no problems.

I,ve had similar problems trying to order from the website. A couple of times ordered using a credit card, even got as far as verified by visa and then told nothing in my basket.
Just before Christmas, ordered and checked out using Paypal. Same thing ,. The transaction is pending in Paypal. Contacted them and waiting for a reply

Jd sports are Terrible for ordering online. I spent the rest of my christmas money ordering presents for my son and hubby just before Christmas and didn't receive a confirmation email. It turned out the order wasn't processed but they had put a hold on my money. When I got onto them they said they'd refund the money back to me and it would be in my account in 24 hours. This was 6 days before Christmas so I wasn't too fussed as I knew I'd have the money back in time for Christmas to buy something else for hubby and son. Turned out it took a whole two weeks until I got my money back! ! So I was left penniless for christmas. I will never be ordering from them again. And by the looks of things, from looking at this thread, they're still at the same old tricks

The only way to know if they really have stock is using their mobile website http://m.jdsports.ie/

If you try to add something to the basket and there is not stock you'll get an error message. Hope that helps.

JD cancelled one of my orders for "roche" runners as it was below the standard price. They were €38 down from €50 on the site and the order never went tru. Support dude told me they were only selling 10 pairs at that price and the other orders cancelled.

So make sure you get a confirmation email.

The cost of my order has been debited fully from my bank account now.
Fingers crossed my order is on the way .So far no confirmation email of any sort.Also I created an account with them at time of purchase,it doesn't recognise me either when I try to log in .Very poor website for customers ,yet their uk site works perfect but you have to use parcel motel for delivery.

Update : Just got an email now to say my order has been dispatched and enroute to the store.
I will get another email/text when my order reaches the store.

Shambles of a website for ordering and trying to track your purchases.
But the excellent bargains do pop up on the website from time to time, so get sucked back each time:)

A few times jd sports took the money from my account and I also got confirmation emails, then a few days later I got cancellation emails. I got the money back no problem but some of what I ordered was for Christmas presents
