Sofa fading in sun.

    We had a fairly complex sofa recovered 12 months ago which cost about €2400 to do.
    The fabric is turning pink !

    The shop is claiming that we shouldn't have the sofa in a room with the blinds up. I've seen slight fading on very old fabric but this is ridiculous. It's in a normal living room with a window and anywhere sunlight even vaguely hits it the colour is changing to pink.

    Any suggestions?

    I have the same problem in my bedroom with furniture, I put in blinds.

    Mam had the same with carpets, all turned pink too, got better blinds.

    Never happened with our previous sofa. I'm assuming the fabric wasn't treated for UV.
