    Rather not try curry's.

Comex on Tullow St. Been using Arturas there since he/they opened. New chap there too now but can't think of name but excellent customer service from both & they have batteries in stock for most makes at good prices too.

Obv. there's always CCR & DS Computers on Castle St. too but I'd revert to Comex initially.

Think they have moved to Barrack St itself, could be mistaken on that.

As a matter of interest, how much did the battery cost you?

€45. Just for clarification, there wasn't one in stock so the store had to order one in.

I tried to buy one online but nowhere would deliver to Ireland.

Cheers for the link. Prices arent too bad. Some places were quoting 70-80 to order one in for me. The price from that site comes in at 47.99 so not too bad

Ebay is worth a look if there is good feedback.

With older models the branded replacements can be very over-priced.

The Chinese copy can be just as good for far less. Usually shipped in bulk and sold from UK or Ireland.

    My experience anyway.
