Alien 2 and Xbmc/kodi

    Hi I've had my Alien 2 box for over a year and hardly ever used it. It currently has vix 4 blue enigma 2 image and I've managed to set up my minix x8 Neo XBMC with live tv using Vu+ setup.
    IP address etc all done and Xbmc scans the channels and gives me a channel list but when I select a channel I get the loading icon and then nothing. If I knew where this was logged I might be able to fix it but all I'm getting is loading then nothing select another channel and the same thing.
    Could it be the image I'm using on the alien 2 ? Is there a setting in there I need to turn on to allow video to stream to the Xbmc? I got this to work with my old raspberry Pi but a few months ago but Ive since upgraded to the minix and would be great to get this to work.
    Is there an android app that I could use instead of Xbmc either?

    So I somehow have managed to get it to stream however now it only seems to stream from 1-5 mins before it quits back to channel selection screen. Any ideas ?
