Question: who's the Irish guy who owns one of the top English clubs?

    Somebody help me out please.

    I was reading before Christmas about this publicity-shy Irish guy (from South Dublin natch) who made his money in finance and lived for a while in tax exile in Monaco before moving to Britain and taking over one of the top English rugby clubs. But I can't remember either his name or the club.

    Anybody know, or was I just dreaming?

    Mick Crossan is the owner/chairman of London Irish. He bought them a year or two ago. Doesn't fit the above description though.

    Don't think there's any other owner in the AP that's Irish (and Crossan was born in London).

    Derek Richardson owns Wasps and is from Dublin. He used to own 123.ie.
