Surprised I could not find a Justin Rose thread, always enjoy following his progress especially after a start to his pro career that could have destroyed his game.

I posted this vid on another thread but going to put it here because it's just soooo good to look at...

He has such great tempo in his swing. Gets it back nice and slow and then accelerates through the shot

You can see it here against Tiger who would have a much quicker swing. Justin has his club taken away and it's a few milliseconds before Tiger starts, but they are both at the top of their backswing together. Justin goes back so much slower. It's a great lesson for anyone trying to improve their game.

I tried to do something similar in order to generate more distance. The muscles in my shoulder and the top of my back hurt so much attempting to do this that I just gave up on it.

I'm not committed enough to my fitness to try and hit that shot

Tee to green there are not many greater than Justin Rose.

If he could improve his putting he could easily win a major this year.

Yeah, that image of him with arms stretched out after the monster putt on 17 is embedded, that hole had it all with Mickleson taking the flag out and almost holing it, great stuff.

The way Mickelson conducted himself in those last couple of holes was pure class.

Nah love Phil. That bit Sky had on about Rose and having lost his dad the year he won the US Open showed him as a class act imo.

Thought the Sky bit was had a fairly hight cringe factor, but yes, Rose is class. Hope he gets himself together tomorrow and is around for the weekend.

Shot a 69 today to make the cut. Great effort.
