Android phone lost / stolen - Can I access it?

    Hi all,

    Trying to get some info from my friends Nexus 5. Google device manager says it is still turned on and I know roughly where it is, but whoever has it is not answering. It's in an estate near enough to where she works.

    Tried remotely installing Androidlost but that's not much use since I can't start the app. Jumpstart isn't compatible with any version of Android higher than 3.0.

    Cereberus won't work without having previously created an account.

    Willing to try absolutely anything.

    Send a text saying you know where their location from google device manager and that police will be showing up tomorrow to retrieve the phone. They'll answer it then.

    or turn the phone off and sell it for parts.
    Offer a reward saying you know where it is and just want it back.

    First off, lock the device using the Device Manager. Then you can put a message on screen with a number like below:
