    Critics Consensus:
Powerfully moving and emotionally resonant, Wild finds director Jean-Marc Vallée and star Reese Witherspoon working at the peak of their respective powers.

I thought this was a bit brilliant!

Would be interesting to read the book.

Yeah it was pretty good. Don't know if I enjoyed it as much as say big hero 6 or whiplash mind. Witherspoon was magnificent though.

Very close to the book, only thing i can think of that was missing was the Bear!
A bit more on the PCT would have been interesting.

Just started watching this, ten minutes in and approximately eight minutes of that has consisted of Reese Witherspoon grunting. Does the movie deviate from this theme?

Why are you using your phone in the cinema, that is probably incredibly irritating for those around you.

I saw this last night and someone actually took a picture of the screen and snapchatted it during the movie :-/

I liked the film, Witherspoon is very good in it and it doesn't overstay it's welcome. I'm going to watch Tracks in the next few nights to see how they compare. Wouldn't say this was as good as Into the Wild though.

Not if he is watching it in the local torrent-plex.

Now on Blue -Ray for anybody that wants to smooch on the couch. Witherspoon is very good as woman who has screwed up her life and has a pathological bereavement going on. She walks the Pacific Crest Trail as a kind of catharsis for her divorce and drug addiction as well.
The movie maintains a constant tension between her and every man she meets but without giving spoilers they kind of pop in and out leaving you a bit puzzled. its shows the best and worst of America if that's not too much of a cliché. Well worth seeing.

Saw this in the movies, I enjoyed it and was very well acted, in comparison to Tracks I would pick Wild as I just liked the story more plus no dogs got shot in it :(
