    Hello,

    I just claimed flat rate expenses for years 2011, 12 & 13. Am I right in saying I cannot claim for years 2014 & 15 as I haven't received a p60 for these years?

Also I cant find the section for claiming for union fees or bin charges. Are these tax credits gone now?

On a side note I fine the layout and general site confusing. It tells me taxes have been claimed yet it seems to allow me to claim them anyway. I'm not too sure as I never went ahead with this as im afraid I screw something up.

You may be able to claim 2014s now if your pay and tax details are on file. Check the 2014 tab to see if your employer has informed Revenue of your 2014 details. You can add the flat rate expenses to your 2015 credits now. It will mean you pay less than during 2015. Bin charges and union subs are gone for the last few years.

Re using the system, there are videos to show you how to use the system and help links all over the service.
But in a nutshell, those things in green, you have claimed already (some credits/reliefs are automatically granted at the start of every tax year year with you claiming them. Some others roll forward each year if you claimed them previously. Occasionally the figures in credits claimed can be too high or low so it's worth keeping an eye on.) Those items in blue, you may be able to claim, those in grey you cannot claim.
