Forestry work in BC?

I've worked a bit in forestry here in Ireland. Flying to Vancouver in March, hoping to get a bit of work in the forestry sector anywhere in BC. I know it's pretty big in Canada, just wondering has anyone worked in that area and if its hard to find work in it. I've applied for a few online but nothing back yet
