Price Plan not what I signed up for through Bonkers.ie

I've received an email that gives a price plan, which is a lot more expensive than the price plan I signed up to through Bonkers.ie.

It also does not give the €30 cash back, direct debit discount or a telephone number on which to ring you.

I'm annoyed at having to spend time on this, that there isn't a phone number, the email says address automatically replies with "you are busy" - well so am I !

How do I get the right price plan sent to me to sign up too, and preferably today.

    Hello SueA.

Is the email that you received, an automated email following your switch via Bonkers.ie?

If the email came from sales @ electricireland.ie and you responded to it, they will reply - your email will just be in a queue though, so it will be approximately after three working days when they can view it and reply to it.

We can take over here for now though, if you private message me your meter point reference number (MPRN), name, address in full, and telephone number. Once we have confirmation of those details, we will check into your query further. Our Sales team can also be telephoned, on 1850 30 50 90 (they are available until 8pm Monday to Friday, and until 6pm Saturdays).

    Regards,
    Una

I've replied to this post in a PM, with all the information as requested, and was told that this would be followed up by yourself, only to then get a mail saying it has been past to the sales team, and that the reply will be around 4 days ?  I rang the number after 23 minutes of hanging on, I hung up.

Right now I don't have an electricity supplier and this worries me, no doubt I will however be charged for the electricity used.  Claimed as a payment but not as a customer with a problem to solve.

    Hi Sue,

    We regret any confusion.

We can't discuss your account on the forum as it is public. We will look into the matter tomorrow once the Sales department are available. We'll get back to you by private message.

    Regards,
    Aoife
