I have been asked by my mother to find out where to buy cheap make-up online
I have checked the usual places like Amazon and the price comparison sites but it seems to be similar to what can be purchased in store.
So where do you buy yours and is there much of a saving to be had, she uses Lancome and Bobbi Brown?

I would avoid amazon and particularly ebay for cosmetics unless from reputable seller as there is so much fake makeup sold on these sites.

Feel Unique do Lancome. They are cheaper than buying it over here. And often have sales/discount codes. Only problem is you can be caught with customs, but they do refund it!

House Of Fraser do most of the big makeup brands and would be cheaper than buying over here. Worth checking out.

With all due respect, if something seems too good to be true, it usually is. I buy 99% of my makeup online but I would avoid eBay, Amazon, and any wholesale makeup site that promises cheap MAC etc.

At the minute there are still a few sales on - Brown Thomas has Lancome mascara/liner/makeup remover sets reduced down to under €19. House of Fraser have Bobbi Brown foundation on sale too at the minute, they deliver to Ireland for £3 on orders under £50, free delivery after that. Cara Pharmacy stock Lancome and are usually a bit cheaper than BT.

For makeup in general I stick to Brown Thomas, Arnotts (also a great sale section at the minute), Cara Pharmacy, Cloud Ten Beauty (free delivery on orders over €15, use code PIPPA for 10% off), Boots.ie, Cult Beauty (use code FREE15 to get free shipping). Littlewoods do makeup too but as usual have a high markup - worth buying if you have a discount code though. I don't have one to hand but if you google Littlewoods Discount Codes, the website Rollercoaster usually has up-to-date ones.

With the likes of Feel Unique and Look Fantastic they are cheaper because they are shipped from the Channel Islands. Never had issues with their products! I wouldn't dream of buying cosmetics off Ebay or Amazon though. Anyone can sell you stuff of those websites.
