    As new, they've been fitted and cycled for about 4 km but then I found a pair of 35mm ones on special offer and those are a less finicky fit with my mudguards.

    35 euro for the pair, currently 42.50e EACH on crc (or so anywhere else that I see)

    Reason that I'm offering them so cheap is that I got them on a planet-x 1 day deal over Christmas so I'm happy to sell them for what I paid.

    FYI Schwalbe say
    "In order to ensure that spikes are permanently fixed, tires should be run in for about 40km on asphalt, while avoiding any fast acceleration or heavy braking."

    They really only have about 4km on them, so that running in period hasn't been done yet. So be gentle for the first little while :)
