    Hi all.

Getting hitched in July and currently thinking about suits.

We had considered getting one made for me but after seeing the costs involved (minimum of €600 to €700) I simply cannot justify paying that amount.

We are thinking of renting them however Im coming up blank with what we are after.

We are not going for the traditional "morning suit" garb but the majority of places Ive found that hire suits, only hire that type.

We are also going to look at buying a suit but the problem is my groomsman & best man are both living abroad and will not be home til approx a week before the wedding.

We are reckoning that if we do find somewhere to rent, there will be no hassle getting something for them that compliments what ever I go with.

    Suggestions appreciated!

    Hi,

I was a groomsman for a friend earlier this year, and he bought his suit in Protocol on Dawson street, he was then able to rent 4 suits from there to match for the rest of the wedding party, and his dad.

I can't really comment on the quality of his suit (not sure if it was different), but the rentals were excellent. The quality was great and I was surprised with the modern and tailored fit as I had difficulty trying to hire suits before that were a tailored fit.

We all went in separately to get fitted, and were in and out in 5 minutes - very little fuss. Not sure about cost as I wasn't paying on this occassion but I'd definitely recommend them.

    Hope this helps.
