I am aware that there are endless related post regarding this, however I have certain questions I can't find answered (or don't understand!)

The other half wants multi fuel cassette style stove. It must be air fed as house is timber frame air tight jobbie. The only stipulation I have is that we put in a back boiler. We will have a large water tank in hotpress and approx 20 rads(to run off oil when Fire not lighting). Now I know that's a lot of rads to run off back boiler but could someone explain how or is it possible to zone the rads to work properly and seamlessly.

If anyone can recommend plumber who is trustworthy and competent in kildare area please feel free to pm me.
    Thanks in advance

have you looked at any yet? like your other half I wanted the same for ours, we are air tight too so need external air supply. we need a 5-8kw one with no back boiler and they were coming in the region of 2k+. once you mention external air the price seems to jump and any of the wide landscape type cassette stoves it jumps price again! i'm thinking of just going for a modern freestanding type instead and keeping price under 1.5k if possible

yea we were set on Stovax Riva Studio 1 i think it was called and when we went back to shop to buy another salesperson told us it wasn't suitable as not room sealed and recommended another one nearly twice the price! I lost my trust in these guys then and searching elsewhere now.
We need two. were thinking of the Dovre Astroline 4CB for main room. and Thorma wikantica for other room (glass version)

Looking for a room sealed wood burner and came across the Thorma Andorra. Did you end up buying the Thorma Wikantica and are you happy with? Thanks.
