have triax set top box used a usb key to record once or twice wanted to have more space so got a verbatim usb 3.0 superspeed but it wont work . any suggestions?

word of caution, I was having problems recording, tried to update software and crashed unit. sorry can't be of help with your issue.

Does the box support usb 3.0 ? can you stick the disk into a usb 2 caddy and test ? it should be reverse compatible but ?????
