    Well Lads,
I got a pair of grub boots (wellies)the neoprene ones the issue is that when I'm out walking in wet high grass/Heather when I take off my wellies my trousers are wet under my boots. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just mine? Don't get me wrong they are comfortable but it defeats the purpose of wellies.

It may be more a case of internal leakage, sweating, than leaky boots.
I use neroprene boots as well and get sweaty calves and feet with a lot of walking, nothing like those you get in cheep rubber boots. Try good quality absorbent sports socks next to your skin.

100 % sweat , i had the muck boot same design, after walking all day your bottoms would be soaked, how do you find walking in them ,i would walk all day while out rough shooting and i found the muck boot had no ankle support and the neoprene would keep getting snagged in briars.

I have the Seeland moor stable boots and find them great for rough shooting in all terrain over long periods. I suffer with shin splints but have not had any issues when wearing these boots, they are warm, give great support and comfort.

use the muck booth once pure rubbish, did not last the season hunting 3 days a week ,have to say they were comfortable to wear but a waist of time in heavy cover.

+1 to that, bad enough trying to lift your leg over a briar after walking all day but then when it gets stuck on the neoprene and rakes up the back of your leg :mad::mad::mad:.
Find neoprene tops good for stopping stuff falling into your boots but too sweaty on the legs.
