Hope someone can help with this we're re plumbing our house and we've been given a quote by a plumber which seems a lot to me, though I'll admit I've no idea what it should cost.

I'm not looking for quotes, just for a general opinion if its too high or not we've been quoted 12k incl VAT for the following:

-Installation of new 24 kw condensing gas boiler

-Installation of new 200 litre Joule dual coil cylinder

-Installation of new pressurised pump for hot and cold services

-Installation of new 950 litre potable water tank

-Installation of 7 new high output rads through out house and chrome towel rails in bathrooms

-Installation of 3 zone heating system upstairs , downstairs and hot water including auto-bypass

    -Pressurisation of heating system

-Installation of two bathrooms in the house (sanitary ware not included)

-Installation of hot/cold services in kitchen

-Installation of 50 gallon tank in attic for toilets

-Powerflush of heating system to remove debris from installation and addition of inhibiting chemicals to protect system

-Balancing of heating system to ensure all rads are heating evenly

-Commissioning of boiler and validating all warranties

-Supply of cert for gas installation

    Hi Dottie,

We're looking at a similar job but oil instead of gas, what was the best quote you got in the end?

    Is this all new pipework??
Is this all supply and fit ir just fit.
If new pipework what are floors, will all pipes need to be buried, boxed in or wha?
