I've been trying to find info on what rate of VRT is charged on crew vans such as Vivaro/Trafic/Primastar or VW Transporter. Is there a different rate if it's a SWB or LWB van?

Crewcabs are all 13.3% I think they have to have 40% of the wheelbase as load area so maybe SWB don't qualify?

Checked out a UK registered Swb crew Van Vivaro. Load area seems to qualify as it's greater than 45% of wheelbase. When I check reg on Cartell, it shows VRT rate of 34%. Checked out VRT website & it gives rate of 13.5% but I'm unsure if this is SWB or LWB model. Is there any way to contact revenue to get fairly confirmation. Can't find any contact details on website. Phoned a few numbers on revenue.ie but just being sent round in circles and not a hope of getting through to a human.

    Should be 13.3% I think.
Keep in mind most uk models (like the one in the ad) don't get the 170bhp engine the Irish model H1 had as standard.

    Thanks Colm

The iload is not on the VRT website so wondering how they will calculate the value of it.

Looks like it will be small in the back for workers. Pet hate of mine cramped conditions travelling to work.
