looking to buy one of these but don't know too much about them.

can anyone share their experiences - best make, pro's/cons', etc.

Do they always do as they say on the tin i.e. does bale ever get stuck, how hard is it to separate the plastic and netting afterwards.

    I'd appreciate any views.

Thought about one a few years back were around 3000 euro at the time but then thought I could buy an awful lot of Stanley blades or pocket knives for that
I suppose if you had a lot of bales the price would be justified but then would pit silage be cheaper
They would make things handier though but I always seem to do things the hard way

yes own tanco one now, this is its 3rd winter i think , anyway its a good tool..things to note
its heavy, 1/2 ton without bale so you need a decent tractor
it will usually hold a good fork or 2 of silage along with the nett, saggy bales are harder to catch right as they arent fully formed and the plastic is that bit farther away from the little grab so you might have to squeeze them up agaiinst other bales to catch them right..there is a knack to it and even still its possible to make a balls of it every so often..
i find that maybe on evening of day 2 after feeding them i push the remainder of the bales in with bale shear, they usually dont want to finish the very last of the bale as they are sick of it by then but i leave it in front of them till its eat
i think they are pricey for what they do but ive been very happy with mine
