I'm taking a year out of college or longer because I don't know what I want to do with my life. I've worked in the hospitality industry for nearly 5 years and can't do it anymore due to medical reasons. I would love a 9 to 5 jobs just something with social hours rather than working until 5 in the morning like I did previously. Looking for any advice at all on how to figure out what I should do? Feels like I'll be stuck career less for the rest of my life!

If you are at the college at the moment, couldn't you avail of their career advisory service? Think about what skills you have gained - organizational, communication, people skills - could you see yourself applying them somewhere else? Do you have a passion for anything in particular? You must have at least an inkling of what sort of job you could envisage yourself doing, with regards to content, beside the working hours?
