    Hi all,

Our Siemens dishwasher which is only three years old has packed in. This was confirmed by repair guy who said we would be better off buying a new one.

Can anyone recommend a good integrated dishwasher for up to 500 Euro. I was hoping to get a five year warranty with it but the only crowd which seems to give this length of warranty is Ikea.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

If you check the Blomberg UK website, you'll find this ....

With over 125 years of production and expertise in the appliance and metal industries, Blomberg is recognised as a German quality brand in home appliances. Through an outstanding collection of environment and user friendly products Blomberg aims to bring harmony to the life at home.

But if you scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll find this .....

Blomberg, founded as a metalworking company in 1883, today belongs to Arçelik, the 3rd largest appliance manufacturer in Europe.

Which in plain English means Blomberg = Beko

How old is it? whats the model? what did the repair guy say was wrong, he may be right in saying its more economical or so close to it that its worth replacing though. Im just curious.

So what did he say was wrong:)

The link supplied is silent on, IMO, 3 key points for a dishwasher.
    1: Cycle temperatures.
    2: cycle duration.
    3: Noise level.

2 and 3 are important to us as we have family here most Sundays and with a 30 min cycle and low noise level, we can get a few washes in before they all go home. Its all open plan.

I'd have thought Siemens would have had a 3 or maybe 5 year warranty?
