Mine has gone dead and thrown up the warning.
Anyone get one in RoI apart from main dealers?

There a 111e off the dealers you can get a bosch one for about 55 euro
I work in a bm and mere specialist and we used to always fit the merc ones but since we started getting the bosch ones we stopped as we never had a issue with one.
are u sure it's the battery that warning can come up also if it needs a software update

Tgat could be down to any number of things have u checked the altenator is charging.
Either way those batterys do fail so I so pose getting a new one isn't a waist that might be all it needs without looking at the car it's impossible to know

If either battery is weak you can get many errors. Suggest checking batteries and alternator properly and have the codes read by a dealer level scanner. The SBC units fail and cost about €2k to have a main dealer sort it but they can be sorted for about €400-€500.

    Main battery is new.
When I bought the car just before xmas the dealer thought the message was f or the main battery and they put a new one in.
Message didnt dissappear but I had decent idea it was hopefully the sbc battery and managed to get another few quid knocked off.

I was in GSF in Santry and they knew what I was on about so will replace the battery and if the message doesnt dissappear then its code reading time.

Il tell u how to diagnose if it's the battery still a battery charger on.the small battery with the key out of the car then put the key in start up the car and if it goes out you kniw it's the battery as I said already most of the time it's the battery up front.give that a shour and let me know how u get on

    Will do.Thanks.
Sure I may get someone to scan codes anyway and see if software update is needed regardless.
