    Hi all

Mods move this if it is in the wrong place.

Basically I have a cooking range positioned under a chimney, I was planning on putting an aga there when I built the house so had the chimney built for the flue, anyway couldn't afford the aga so have a rangemaster. The chimney has a balloon in it but down through the years with all the cooking the grease/steam is getting on everything above the range on the mantle. Does anyone know of an extractor fan that would fit in under the chimney and work above the range or any solution to my problem?

How much room is there from top of range master to underside of chimney?
You need minimum 650 mm to underside of fan.
I wold look at a re-cirulating fan with carbon filters and washable stainless steel mesh screens.

They are not as good as full extraction but if you could fit a 900 wide one...

If you vent up the chimney the gunk will congeal on the flue and....
