Help me with aerial problems

    I moved into a house. There is no aerial on the roof except for an old sky dish. I plugged my tv into the aerial socket and couldnt get any reception. I also bought and returned an indoor aerial from Argos as didn't work. If i get an old Sky box, will that work for me? Feeling frustrated here...

    There are two types of free TV services available I.e. Satellite and terrestrial.

    Unless your TV has an inbuilt satellite tuner, you will need a set top box to use the sky dish. Best to get a Freesat box.
    Check the Saorview website for more information on terrestrial reception requirements for your location.
