    Folks,

Does anyone know when the tickets for Ireland Vs Wales on 8 August in Cardiff are due to be released? Cant find them anywhere bar this site which I am guessing might not be valid tickets, http://www.walesvirelandrugbytickets.com/buy.php.

Stay a million miles away from that site, it's clearly a scam.

Just to follow up for you here, a good way of finding out when these tickets will go on sale is to look at similar matches for the last world cup.

Here's the Ireland v England ticket announcment from 2011: http://www.irishrugby.ie/news/14629.php so assuming tickets for this year will go on sale around the same time, you're looking at March.

Cheers so reckon tickets might be in around the 50-100e depending on what area you want?

In 2011 tickets to the Summer Series were very cheap (as in I got tickets to Ireland v England at €10 each!!!) and IIRC none of the three games were anywhere near sell outs. Peak holiday time in August you see. Of course it was the hight of the recession then and things may be different now.

The hype of the world cup build up will mean these tickets will be €50+ IMO.

There will be loads of tickets floating around for these two games.

    Likely scenario ...

Ireland [First picks] v Wales [Second picks] in Dublin

Wales [First picks] v Ireland [Second picks] in Cardiff

    ...... Two home wins.
