1991, 100hp, gutsy little tidy tractor but a lot gone pourous by now so would be the first thing to look for, a good one will make good shillings still

1990, any imports may be 19991/92. 97hp. Values are after increasing in recent years, fairly expensive, you would buy a 1997/98 NH 7740 for the same money or maybe 1 or 2 thousand more. Series 3 models the youngest and the most desirable.

Very good tractor, rust only problems in Super Q cabs, they can be a good investment as they hold their value but they are getting scarce. Would consider looking at a NH 7740 as it would be 40kph opposed to a 30pkh in a 7610.

    No real info on Zetors.

They are a great yoke. Have had a mid 80 series 2 that has got through a huge amount of work or us. Only issue we have ever had with it is had it 2wd rather then 4wd. Only main work we had had to do on it a replace the clutch and fit a new hydraulic pump in nearly 15 years.

The series 3 with the SQ cab are probably the best but are pricey enough these days for a good one.

What are you planning to use it for?

Series 2 or force 2 arrived in late 1985 most registered in 1986 and were approx 97hp, and brought in the new super q cab. In 1989 the force 3 came about. Power went up slightly to 103hp with a new rotary pump and few other improvements incl new water|coolant filter to help issue with porus blocks and upgraded digital dash.. I believe porus issue was not as bad as some may claim. I had an 88 and 90 and nether suffered porus issues. Force 3 was livelier tractor. IMHO the 10 series are nicer to look at than the 40 and are much simplier to work on . less electronic gimmicks. The digital dash can need some attention so make sure it's working OK. My 88 the cab was rotting but my 1990 has not a bit of rust. Depends how well machine was treated, housed by previous owners etc. I think they were built up to late 1991. But late registered ones may have 92 or 93 reg. Saw one on done deal with 94

If I were you i would also consider a ford 7810 a tractor with simlar HP but wit a 6 cylinder engine and not much bigger in the yard either
