    Hi,

    Bought this wheel for my son. Works fine on the xbox but not on his pc running windows 7 pro 64bit. The driver does not install properly.It shows in the device manager but with the yellow exclamation. I have installed all window updates as suggested on another forum, but still no joy. Thrustmaster don't provide a driver for this wheel, it seems that it is supposed to work out of the box with windows own drivers. Anyone got the wheel working on the pc?

    The website for the wheel says you need to install this drivers before you plug it in http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows

    Hi. Finally got this wheel to work with windows 7. I got a solution by email from Thrustmaster. Hopefully this may help anyone who experiences the same issue as I had.

    Ferrari 458 Italia.

    We thank you for your choice of Thrustmaster products and for reaching us regarding your inquiry.

    The Windows 7 OS that you have has the necessary Xbox 360 tool already installed. If your computer is not correctly detecting the unit when you connect it to it is because this tool is not correctly being activated. Consequently, please follow the indications located below to activate it manually:

    - Connect the wheel straight into an USB port from the computer.

    - Access the Device Manager window;

    - Right click on the unknown device that shows a problem (e.g. the gamepad).

    - Select Update Driver Software > Browse My computer for Driver Software > Let Me Pick from a List of Drivers

    - Now 2 situations can occur:

    A. First Situation - If this happens, choose "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows" (version 2006), ignore any warnings and validate the driver installation.

    B. Second Situation - If this happens, select "Microsoft" in the left pane and then "Microsoft Common Controller for Windows Class" in the right one, ignore any warnings and validate the driver installation.
