Torsion Bars Bushes Iveco 35c

    Asking for someone else but,Iveco 35c 13 2004
    Torsion bar bushes. How are these done. Anyone with experience of doing them.
    Could a person do these ,with a helping hand.

    I've done them on the older ones and it is not a pleasant job. The old bush gets stuck to the torsion rod and its a real drama to get them out of the control arm...

    From looking at it I thought that he could remove torsion bar from chassis via the mounting brackets,and then remove what looks like a castle nut at front of truck. Would this be correct way to at least take the torsion bar out of the way. Looks like the bushes are only up front of truck ,one each side of,wishbone/front mount for torsion bar.

    The problem is that the torsion bar gets welded to the bush with rust. We used to take the front bumper off and try and sledge them out of the wishbone.

    It didn't always work. Sometimes you had to sacrifice the bar to get it done.
