Great Landing at LBA

    hi all i was just on liveleak and came across this http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=4bf_1420820439 they say its a fr landing at leeds on the 9th jan, looks very impressive

    Changed title to reflect what actually happened rather than what the media thought it was.

    That ain't an FR B738, its a KLM Cityhopper E190 ;). Great landing all the same though.

    Looks like a BMI Jungle Jet, but yes nice landing.

    You can see landings like that in Cork any windy day, you don't have to go to Leeds for it.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

    There was genuine confusion out there. The idiots in the respectable publication linked to above believed they were looking at a Flybe Dash8 arriving from Aberdeen!

    See landings like that in DUB on 16 all the time, must be an Irish pilot flying that

    Yep because nobody with an iota about aviation ever had any insight into any aviation policy or decision related to airport development in this country. As unfortunate as that is.
