Well lads doing well on the post Christmas diet trying to lose those last few pounds but mad for a pizza. I presume it's better to make your own than order in.

Has anybody got any good suggestions for a Pepporoni pizza that could advise me. I never made a pizza so have no clue what to do.

There are recipes for a good base and sauce here:

There's also a great recipe with step by step instructions and pictures in the Cooking Club:

If for any reason you want to avoid making the base from scratch (though it's really not difficult!) I find these ready made pizza bases perfect:

Seen them in Dunnes as well as Supervalu, they are from a smaller artisan producer in Dublin. Then all you need to make is a basic tomato sauce, top with pepperoni or whatever else you like and cheese.

How "healthy" your pizza is depends first and foremost on the toppings, why not try reducing the pepperoni and adding other stuff like cooked ham peppers, mushrooms etc. And go easy on the cheese of course :)

Not the same but you could use a large tortilla wrap for the base, about 3tbs of passata and some pepperoni and cheese, or whatever toppings you want. Makes a quick and healthy enough lunch anyway!
