RTE Player "Charlie" region?

I'm getting a "not available in your region" response when I try to look at the first show, want to look before tomorrow.

Is watching it again prohibited?

I didn't know there were any restrictions in viewing abroad or in other countries.


RTE website says:


"Due to rights restrictions, some programmes cannot be viewed outside of Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. Overseas viewers can watch a selection of RTÉ programmes that are cleared for international audiences on RTÉ Player."

You'll need to get temporary use of an Irish Proxy Server ... if you google the "free irish proxy server" you may be able to find a free one..

In Ireland, that's why I asked. Not sure if my isp is using a proxy, unlikely.

Ho-hum, my experience with RTE on the technical stuff is poor, maybe a glitch. I'll watch Sunday, we all know the story!!

Hi. I am also getting the "not available in your region" response when I try to look at Charlie. I live in Magilligan, Co Derry. Is there a restriction because I live in Co Derry?

Is there a way I can adopt an Irish ip address. I can watch the Late Late on the RTE Player with no restrictions.
