    Sweet deal.

Anyone know if the HD can be easily upgraded to 1TB like the similar Humax boxes?

This is good value for a 320GB Manhattan Plaza HDR-S Smart Freesat+ HD Digital TV Recorder - essentially it's like a subscription free Sky+ box for the free-to-air UK satellite channels (e.g. BBC1-4, ITV1-4, C4, E4, More4 etc.)

£89 from Tesco Direct UK. Would require Parcel Motel for delivery.

The reviews are very poor, failed recording, poor user interface etc.

Cheers op, can you connect an aerial to this box to pick up saerview? Or do I need to get a seperate box for saerview? Excuse my ignorance.

Vectra, The humax one, any bargains then? Why do you prefer it?

Because Humax have long set the standard in terms of features & reliability on their Freesat products.

This box won't deliver Saorview - it receives UK channels via your satellite dish. You'll require either a set-top box or perhaps your TV already has the necessary tuner onboard.

Thanks for that. I've No tuner on TV, so more money to spend. Ah well. Think I'll get this thing, it seems far cheaper than others with similar capabilities. I'll live with the cheapy feel to it.
