Long story short I have been playing approx 10-11 years although the last few years have been not as dedicated as I should be (work etc).

I'm looking for people who are interested in learning a couple of songs and having a jam. Nothing serious I'm not looking to light the music world on fire.

All styles welcome I listen to everything and just want to get back into playing again

    Edit: I'm based in Dublin

    hi Ciaran,

I got lucky today:) my vy good friend came to me for a jam - he's bass player. I am lead guitarist. And he was complaining that playing jams at home doesnt make him happy enough. last few months we spent on jamming, making our own stuff (instrumental only), some basic structures, chords, lead etc.
we recorded some ideas (on the phone) and now is the time to try it out with a drummer - a drummer who doesnt mind playing from blues, a little bit of jazzy blues, melancholic, intrumental and souful stuff, through hard rock and ending on really heavy sounds.

ideally at the end of 2015 we would like to get all 10-12 songs done and dusted and recorded - just for ourselves. we are in our 30's, working so also have no intention to fire up the world. most of all it should be fun. we have no preassure to get things done. all should become natural and in the right time.
we don't mind playing covers, as we love them and played blues, hardrock, and r'n'r stuff through many years.
we could mixed our jamming ideas with covers.
and we aren't crappy at all. the basis has been playing 20years now. great, kindhearted guy. we don't look for arguing, but for respect and compromise. most of all fun.
most of the stuff we do is around blues with various influances.

lets simply meet and have fun.
we're based in Balbriggan, but we can do jams sometimes in Dublin, sometimes here or also our friend has studio in blachnardstown for really cheap money (~30eur for 4h - at least that was the price the last time we played in there). we like also applerock studios - close to connolly station, which is handy for us.

obviously we played around Dublin and I could get us in The Mezz to play from time to time, if we prepare some stuff. also I have other contacts to play gigs for fun from time to time.

we don't need to end up on making a big band, or any band. we simply are missing jam sessions with a drummer, where we could crank up our marshalls and enjoy the sound. levitate:)

do you need my phone number? or is it somewhere in my profile - I haven't been using boards since 2010:)

    Happy New Year btw.
    Waldi
