A weird place to ask this question.

    I'm feeling helpful:

But I really don't get why people have pets - I mean at least with kids you can harvest their organs they can donate organs to you when you're older.

I don't think a dog liver is gonna do the trick for my booze habit.

First of all, does your dog speak Canadian? If not, he might have a ruff time of it.

If it's a poodle it'll speak French so OP will be fine in some parts of Canada.

IIRC on a ship or train a dog costs the same as a child but on a plane it's just excess baggage.

thing to remember if you come back there are all sorts of quarantine stuffs you have to go through and costs and things

and quarantine is a lot longer in dog years

Dog liver goes well with a nice craft beer though.

Just buy 2 tickets. How long is a flight to Canada in dog years?

Buy a travel cage and arrange your flights over the phone.
The airline will look after the dog when you get to the airport.

Might be better suited to the Animals and Pet Issues forum if you want serious replies ...

Or you could do what they do in the US and say its for emotional support and bring it on the plane. Look at the size of the pig just women got on the plane with

I wouldn't go in for any of those fancy dogs, good old fashioned sheep dog, cabbage and spuds is the one.
